Data Issues with the CESM Model FHIST

Hi all, I am using the FHIST. In the input data for the base model SO2,two nc files: emissions-cmip6_so2_anthro-ene_surface_1750-2015_0.9x1.25_c20170616.nc and emissions-cmip6_so4_a1_anthro-ene_vertical_1750- 2015_0.9x1.25_c20170616.nc I found that the nature of their explanations are both anthro energy + industrial emissions of SO2 * one factor in the CEDS. However, I looked at their data and found that one has values in the same latitude/longitude grid and the other does not. Since they are both from the CEDS anthro energy + industrial emissions SO2 data, shouldn't it be OK to have no value in the same grid? And in emissions-cmip6_so4_a1_anthro-ene_vertical_1750-2015_0.9x1.25_c20170616.nc I found 0 values for 0-0.125km and the same values for 0.175-0.325km, can you explain this to me? Thanks a lot.
