On Tuesday 24 October 2023 @ 5pm MT the forums will be in read only mode in preparation for the downtime. On Wednesday 25 October 2023 @ 5am MT, this website will be down for maintenance and expected to return online later in the morning.

I want to have output from the model every three hours for two days, how can I set the model for this purpose?
Can the model be adjusted like this?
Each CESM component has a way to change the model output frequency, typically via a couple of namelist parameter changes. Please see the documentation for the specific component that you are trying to adjust.
