Dead link to Polvani-Kushner PK02 Stratospheric thermal forcing code on CESM website | CESM2

Hi,I am trying to include Polvani-Kushner Stratospheric Thermal forcing to the simple Held-Suarez 1994 forcing. Recently I found this CESM webpage :http://www.cesm.ucar.edu/models/simpler-models/changetrefana.htmlthat includes the code that achieves the same feature(http://www.cesm.ucar.edu/tar/pkstrat.tar). However, this tar link to download the modified code is dead. I branched the CESM2 Beta6 version in the repository and it, to my surprise, does not have this code already. Is there any way I can get this code? Any help on the matter is deeply appreciated.Regards,Aman

Hi Aman,Thank you for pointing out the dead link.  You should find that it is fixed now.  The source code modifications listed under "Modifying the default configuration" on the simpler models website are not officially supported within CESM2 and, therefore, won't be in the CESM2 Beta6 version.  But hopefully now that the link is working you can download the sourcemods and modify the default Held-Suarez configuation that is there.  Let me know if you have any further problems as these are new and there may be wrinkles to iron out.Many thanks,Isla
