definition of TG, Tv

Good day!

I would just like to clarify that the output TG and TV represent. If I understand the documentation correctly, for non-veg areas, the surface temp is set to TG (the ground temp) while for vegetated surfaces, the surface temp is set to TV (the canopy air temp) instead of TG. So, in the output netcdf files, does TG represent surface temperature of non-veg areas or, more generally, the temperature at ground level for both veg and non-veg areas?

Thank you very much!

Think of Tg as the soil temperature of the top soil layer.
Think of Tv as the leaf temperature.
