Hi,
Is there a difference in the guassain latitude calculation with CCSM4 and CCSM3?
I'm trying to ingest CCSM4 data into WRF and WRF is complaining that the latitudes it is calculating are not the same as the CCSM4 data so it can't interpolate the input data to the WRF map projection, since the input data does not have the correct "projection". I've successfully ingested CCSM3 data with out a problem.
If there is a difference where in the source code can I find exactly what calculations are being used?
I'm using files with the naming convention below that I have gotten from ESG
b40.rcp8_5.1deg.007.cam2.h3.2005-11-27-00000.nc
b40.rcp8_5.1deg.007.cam2.h3.2005-12-27-00000.nc
b40.rcp8_5.1deg.007.clm2.h0.2005-11.nc
Thanks in advance for any insight to this problem.
Cindy
