Dust aerosol modeling in CAM4

Hi!I want to conduct some sensitive experiments(e.g. change soil erodibility) to  test  dust changes(transport and deposition) by using CAM4. I know that CAM4 has a Bulk Aerosol Model (BAM) to do this work. But I still feel confused by at least the following questions:
1. In the env_conf.xml, the default chem in CAM_CONFIG_OPTS is none.  Does it mean the BAM is not included in the default CAM4 so I should change the option to trop_bam? If it's the case, is there anywhere else should I change?2. The soil_erod variable in cam.input_data_list is pointed to the $INPUTDATA/atm/cam/dst/*.nc, the variable name in the file is mbl_bsn_fct_geo. So, is it the right place and right variable if I want to change the soill erodibility in a particular region? I'm confused as I tought some variables related to soil erodiblity and emission should be in the CLM namelist.  In order to test the change of dust cycle related to soill erodibility, which are the right variables and where are the right places to make changes? ThanksSunny
