Hello,
I am currently running CESM 1.04 in an E compset at 4x5 resolution with CAM5 (CAM5,CLM4,CICE4,SOM) with year 2000 initial conditions plus a doubling of CO2. The model seems to run fine for quite some time (I actually ran the model with the same configuration but with year 2000 CO2 for 50 years, then branched off for this run, which ran for another ~30 years). However, now this error appears:
zisocl: Error: Tried to extend CL to the model top
After looking at the source code, the error appears to come from CAM5's eddy scheme (diag_TKE -> eddy_diff.F90), and seems to directly kill the model (it uses the Fortran STOP command). Has anyone run into this error before? The model is being run on the University of Colorado's Janus system with 72 processors (6 nodes) being used. Any help or advice someone could provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, and have a great day!
