Elevation correction for tas?

Hello,

I just downloaded the temperature output (tas) of the SRESB1 scenario of the CCSM3 model on the site of the IPCC. Is this dataset adjusted for elevation in the region of the Alps? If so, how is this done (which formula is used)?
