ERROR in mksurfdata_map: 44544

Hi everyone,

I am trying to run the mksurfacedata.pl routine under cesm2.2.0/components/clm/tools/mksurfdata_map for 0.23x0.31 resolution:

./mksurfdata.pl -res 0.23x0.31

I keep getting the following error:

ERROR in mksurfdata_map: 44544

I honestly don't know where the problem is, does someone know what this is about? I appreciate any leads on this.

I'm going to move this to the land forum. But, we also need more information on this. Are you running this on cheyenne? Have you followed the guidance in the CLM Users's Guide as well as the README files there? Did you submit the above job to the queue?

Yes, this is in Cheyenne and followed the guide and README files. I did not submit it to the queue though, do you think this is the problem?

This works for me on cheyenne:

qcmd -- ./mksurfdata.pl -res 0.23x0.31
