ERROR in shr_stream_verifyTCoord

Hi all,

I am tryng to run a case with my own meteorological forcing (daily values) and I get the following error during the initialization of land component:

It seems something related to the time stamp of nitrogen deposition file which is set to 2000-01-01 00:00:00.

Hi Sam,

thanks, it was my first idea and writing in google the error message the first time I got the error I arrived at the Koichi's post. Unfortunately but I am not able to fix the problem, also because Koichi had the problem in the meteorological forcing and here the problem seems into the nitrogen deposition file. At least as far as I understood.
Also Koichi had the problem after 1 month of simulation and I am not able to initialize the model.
Someone has some suggestion?

Dear all,

I have always the same problem posted a week ago:
I am running CLM with my own meteorological forcing over a piece of Europe. I've created my surfaces and forcing and now I am trying to run a cold start case for the year 2000.
Here the error I get during the lnd initialization phase.
As mentioned in the previous post this is not the same error Koichi got since in his case it was in the forcing data files and here it is in the nitrogen deposition.

I have already tryed to change all the parameters of the namelist for example:
stream_year_first_ndep = 2000
stream_year_last_ndep = 2000
model_year_align_ndep = 2000 (and many other combination)

I am not able to set the parameters for the interpolation of the nitrogen deposition file sinc if I include someting like tintalgo in the ndepdyn namelist I get an error.

You must have a time coordinate variable on your Nitrogen deposition dataset and it must be strictly increasing for each time. Take a look at the time-coordinate for the existing datasets and make sure you have something similar...

I've checked the fndep file as you suggest and it's quite similar to yours. The only difference I see is that theYEAR variable is "integer" in your case and "long" in my case. Please find below the ncdumb of my fndep file,
