Hello,
I would like to understand the role of dust in climate. As a first approach, I am using a fixed SST run (F2000Climo) and set dust_emis_fact to 0.0 in user_nl_cam. This change alone causes the model to fail, with errors like:
atm.log.7723468.desched1.250213-195210: ERROR: shr_reprosum_calc ERROR: NaNs or INFs in input
cesm.log.7723468.desched1.250213-195210:dec0179.hsn.de.hpc.ucar.edu 0: ERROR: shr_reprosum_calc ERROR: NaNs or INFs in input
The full log files are attached
I am using version "release-cesm2.1.5-0-g7a6c5b0"
I have tried varying the amount of dust emission as well. The default dust_emis_fact was 0.7, and it seems like decreasing this to even 0.35 fails
Thanks,
PJ
