Dear scientists,
I am running simulation case using MOM6 model. The compset I used is B1850MOM. When the case is in the seven year, it got error. See the cesm.log the mistake is like this:

WARNING from PE 483: Extreme surface sfc_state detected: i= 49 j= 331 lon= 10.602 lat= 54.649 x= 14.562 y= 59.164 D= 3.0000E+01 SSH= 2.0020E+01 SST= 1.3476E+01 SSS= 1.2892E+01 U-= 0.0000E+00 U+=-2.3319E-02 V-= 0.0000E+00 V+=-1.0480E-02

FATAL from PE 483: There were a total of 2 locations detected with extreme surface values!

Abort(1) on node 707 (rank 707 in comm 0): application called MPI_Abort(MPI_COMM_WORLD, 1) - process 707

the whole file is in the attach files, it seems that the model got some computational error, can you help me how can I resolve this problem.

Hi,
The simulation stopped because of enormous (> 20 m) sea surface height values at the two locations reported. This compset has not been scientifically validated and we are actively working on improving fully-coupled simulations with CESM/MOM6. There have been code improvements since the latest CESM release and I suggest you wait for a future model release before proceeding with your experiments.
