error with refcase

When I ran CESM-dt 1.2.2 with refcase B_PETM_2deg_8x_aero.21, it told me that there was something wrong like the picture below

and this is the error in the ocn.log

I change another case with different refcase in the resolution T31, but the error is still here. Idont know how to deal with it

Hello QuenTin, this issue may be resolved by decreasing the ocean time step (increasing dt_count in user_nl_pop2). See the POP2 FAQ for more information: The CESM1.2 POP2 FAQ

If this does not work, I will need more information about your case, such as the differences between the reference case and the new hybrid/branch case you created.
