extracting a single-column from CESM

Hi,Would anyone be able to offer advice on extracting a single-column model from the latest version of CESM?  There is an older single-column model available (http://www.cesm.ucar.edu/models/atm-cam/docs/scam/) but it appears it may be pretty dated.Thanks,Ben
