Hi all,i'm running F_AMIP_CAM5 from 1979. the model ran just fine until model year of 2006-11, but a sudden failure occured with exit code 255. I restarted from months before 2006-11, and the model still failed at the same point, that is, 2006-11. so I was wondering if there were missing files or if it's possible that there was no input data after 2006-11 in the AMIP run?attached is the cesm log file. Please reply if anyone knows a possible reason for the failure. Thanks!Qiu

Hi Puneet,I continued the run after 2006 using a F_1850-PDAY_CAM5 component. What you need to do is to continue with hybrid run type and your FAMIPC5 restart files. But different run compoinents may use different initial files, which may cause inconsistency.Qiu

Hi Qui,As mentioned in your reply I tried continuing the run after 2006 using the compset F_1850-PDAY_CAM5. I changed the emmisions from RCP4.5 to RCP8.5 by changing CAM_NML_USE_CASE to "2006-2100_cam5_rcp85" and CLM_NML_USE_CASE to "1850-2100_rcp8.5_transient" in the env_run.xml file. But I am getting the error /home/cas/faculty/dilipganguly/cesm/inputdata/atm/cam/ggas/ghg_rcp85_1765-2500_c100203.nc
