For the CLM,How to add new history filed ?

Hi everyone. There are some fields i'm interested , which are not in the main list of the history file.For example , rb (leaf boundary resistance) in the CanopyFluxesMod.f90 is the field i want to add to the output file.Can anyone give me some help  and thanks a lot in advance.
