Forcing CLM with Atmospheric C13 Data

Hi, I would like to make a transient run of standalone CLM  over the industrial period with isotopic forcing. However, I couldn't find out how to apply the atmospheric forcing. The atmospheric fields for a standalone CLM run are limited to several that are already defined and C13 is obviously not one of them. Is there an easy way to include that to be passed along to the land, and ideally back to atmosphere as well. Do I have to modify DATM and/or coupler to include a new transient field?ThanksAnil

CSEG and Liaisons
I'd post this to the CLM forum. They maintain the DATM component used to drive standalone CLM.
