Future non-hydrostatic plans for CAM?

Hi,I'm wondering what the future of CAM might look like over the next few years, specifically if there are plans to implement non-hydrostatic solver to take advantage of higher resolutions e.g. global cloud-resolving simulations. Thanks -

There are currently plans to implement a non-hydrostatic version of the existing Spectra Element dynamical core in CAM in addition to a version of the Model for Prediction Across Scales (MPAS) for high resolution applications. These efforts are in the very early stages and it will be many months before a version becomes available to CAM developers in CESM trunk code tags.
