generate the ensemble members

I want to do EnKF in the framework of POP.The compset I use is GIAF, and I have got the restart files as follows:rpointer.atmrpointer.drvrpointer.icerpointer.lndrpointer.ocn.ovfrpointer.ocn.restartrpointer.rof$CASE.cice.r.0057-01-01-00000.nc$CASE.cpl.r.0057-01-01-00000.nc$CASE.datm.rs1.0057-01-01-00000.nc$CASE.pop.r.0057-01-01-00000.nc$CASE.pop.ro.0057-01-01-00000.ncThe next I want to do is generate 10 ensemble members using the restart files above.I just create a new case referring the restart files above, and change several NINST_[MODEL] variables to 10 in env_mach_pes.xml file, and then setup, build and run it .Is that OK? Do I need to add something in different user_nl_[MODEL]_xxxx before build?Thank you for your help.

I didn't add anything in user_nl_[MODEL]_xxxx files after changing several NINST_[MODEL] variables to 10 in env_mach_pes.xml files. And the results in different ensemble members are all the same. There is not a namelist variable  "pertlim" in ~/&cesm/models/atm/datm/bld/namelist_files/namelist_definition_datm.xmlonly ~/&cesm/models/atm/cam/ and ~/&cesm/models/lnd/clm/ directories have "pertlim".How to perturb the initial conditions to gain ensemble members in GIAF compset run?
