Generating datasets

Hi,

Can anybody please tell me how can I generate T85 initial and boundary condition datasets for CAM3.0 from observed data? Which observational data should I use to T85 datasets?

For all those datasets that are of netCDF format, you can do an "ncdump" of these files to
determine their exact format. Then interpolate your data to the given resolution and create
the netCDF file in the appropriate format. There are various tools for generating netCDF files.
At NCAR, one tool is NCL which you could install at your facility if you don't have access at NCAR.
