Geostrophic winds

Hi,
In CAM 3.1 master field list, is there a field name that one may use to compute the geostrophic winds? Also, what are the terms that contribute to the wind forcing terms i.e. 'FU' and 'FV'?

If you pull out the geopotential height from the model (Z) then you can calculate the components of the geostrophic wind. Ug = -(g/f)(dZ/dy). For the forcing terms for the wind tendencies please refer to the CAM documentation here
