HELP: Run Failure

I was running the fully coupled model and one of my runs failed mid run, because of this the model did not produce restart files. When the model tried to restart the model would not run because of either cpl files could not find all of the files or ocn could not find all of the files.

To fix this I tried to manually set the date of the restart (in run_conf) to make sure that the model started at the date that I know that the model had been able to run at, and I also made sure that the rpointer files were pointing to the right files.

After I did this I still got error messages and the model will not run. Can anyone help me with restarting the run?

Also how do you create restart files for each month so that if this happens again I do not need to lose over 2 years worth of data?

I would appreciate all the help I can get.

this might be of help to you
check if you are saving restarts at end of a run (in sense that if you save restarts at end of every 5 months for a year run and you are later restarting from end of 1year it will obviously not start from end of year as there is no restart available )??
if it doesnt work check if you have all related files in build directory..in atm,lnd directories you can see restart files cam.r...clm.r...etc and in ocn , ice you can see them in ocn/rest or ice/rest ..

and if you are trying manually are you builing the model again after making changes to env_conf...
