hist_nhtfrq issue

I am running release-2..2.01 out-of-the-box and have the following namelist settings (I want to write out every timestep for a day for .h2.):

hist_avgflag_pertape = 'A','A','I'
hist_mfilt = 1,48,1
hist_nhtfrq = -24,1,-24
hist_type1d_pertape = ' ',' ',' '

My .h2. only has 1 timestep instead of 48 ... I was reading the documentation for hist_nhtfrq and think there's a misleading typo or a mistake or I simply don't get it: "5 means every 24 time-steps"? I put in '1' thinking I'd get an output every timestep.

Your h1 file should have 48 timesteps and your h2 file should have one value (daily average).
It also looks like you are changing your h0 file which normally has monthly average (hist_mfilt=1, hist_nhtfrq=0).
