Horizontal advective tendencies for SCAM

I have been running SCAM using forcing derived from CAM, which gives me the 3D advection tendencies, divT3d and divq3d. Now I'd like to alter the subsidence structure by altering the omega field, but doing so in my current set up doesn't do anything because SCAM is using the 3D tendencies.

So my question is if there is a way to get the horizontal advection from the CAM output. I'd like to be able to exactly reproduce the CAM output as a control case. I've tried to reproduce the values in divT3d and divq3d from combinations of, for example, VAT, HAQ, VAQ, and KTOOP, but without success. In my simple view of the world, VAQ + HAQ = divq3d, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Anyone have an idea?

Alternatively, is there a way to get CAM to write the instantaneous horizontal advection tendencies?
