For example, FV("friction velocity for dust model")is not available in I2000Clm50SpGs, but I do see it in
my_cesm_sandbox/components/clm/src/biogeophys/FrictionVelocityMod.F90

is there a systematic way to find the list?
Thanks.

A "MASTER FIELD LIST" appears in the lnd.log file when you start a simulation. I hope this helps.

Also, I confirmed from my own SP vs. BGC simulations that the former do not include FV, while the latter do.

Since this is specific to the Land model I'm moving to that forum.
