How is calculated OH in external forcing?

Hi everyoneI have a doubt and I was trying to get information but I didn't find any explanation.. In the chemical mechanism of WACCM-CARMA and for example cam5/mam4 the OH specie is put it in External forcing, however there is not data set for that, I mean is not like the other species that are written as
