Dear All,I am planning to create my own topography data for testing its impact. I "ncdump" the input file - USGS-gtopo30_ne120np4_16xde12-PFC-consistentSGH.nc - and found that there is one variable called PHIS (surface geopotential). My guess is that the surface geopotential is simply the integration of g over z from 0 (usually sea surface) to h (real surface elevation). Is it correct? If I want to increase the elevation by 20%, should I simply multiply the surface geopotential by 1.2?Thanks.
