How to add a new variable in forcing dataset when run the offline CLM

Hi all,

I want to add a new time-variant variable in the forcing dataset anｄI have modified the Fortran code based on other variables that already exist in the forcing dataset. Everything seems smooth and the modification is easy to complete, but unfortunately, the values are 0 when output the newly added variable. Does anyone have experience on this issue?
