Dear scientists,
I am using GLASS LAI to create LAI data for corresponding PFTs and obtaining corresponding LAI values for each PFT. However, due to the continuous nature of LAI data, some non vegetation areas such as cities and wetlands may also have LAI. Because the LAI values in CLM are divided based on PFT (i.e. only including vegetation areas), how should the LAI values of these non vegetation areas be handled? Should we just abandon it?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
