How to manual download inputdata more quickly?

Hi! I am currently trying the B1850 experiment but it has taken me long time to download the data. Due to my server not being able to connect to the internet, I have to manually download inputdata on the local virtual machine.

Currently, I am using the wget tool to download, but the speed is too slow (0-20kb/s). I also tried using mwget, but cannot set --no check certificate and the connection had always been closed.

What is the speed of automatically downloading inputdata in general? Is there a faster way to manually download?

I would be very grateful if any help!

I regularly use this process on systems around the world and generally have no problem with performance.
If you have access to the ncar globus server you can get the files you need in
/glade/campaign/cesm/cesmdata/inputdata
globus should be a much faster interface. You can use a globus_personal connection on your end if you don't have a globus server already.
