how to modify the restart data for Icepack?

Hi there,
I noticed that the restart data for Icepack is provided in a binary unformatted format - not like CICE, which can provide restart data in NetCDF format so it can be easily read and modified.
I am wondering if there's a tool to read and modify the Icepack restart data? Let's say, for example, I want to modify the sea ice thickness in the restart data, how can I do that? Any suggestions would be extremely helpful! Thank you in advance.
Best,
Shengzhe

We do not have a standard tool. One idea would be to start an Icepack run and then add to the Fortran code here the necessary changes and save a new restart after several days of simulation. Otherwise, you are welcome to create a tool to modify the restarts offline and we would welcome you to share this with the rest of the Consortium.
