Hello everyone, I plan to realize a volcano forcing experiment by using CESM 2.2 .
Based on CAM-chem, I am aiming to be able to freely set the eruption location (longitude, latitude), the amount of SO2 injected into the stratosphere, the formation and transport of interactive stratospheric aerosols, and the volcanic plume
I have known that sulfur dioxides on behalf of a volcanic eruption can be input to CESM-WACCM, while the computing resources of WACCM are too huge.
I searched for NCL scripts that create external coercion
Next I plan to create a netcdf file using the ncl script and then replace the initial input file with the new one in user_nl_cam in CESM, and that this is all that is needed?
My apologies for all the beginner questions:), and thank you for all the replies and help.
