How to run a CTRL simulation with year 1950?

Dear all,

I would like to run a fully coupled control simulation for the year 1950 using CESM2.2, but there is no such a compset like “B1950”.

I try to create a new case using “1950_CAM60_CLM50%BGC-CROP_CICE_POP2%ECO_MOSART_CISM2%NOEVOLVE_WW3_BGC%BDRD”, and I have successfully created, setup, and built this case. But the “***cycle_yr” in “$CASE/CaseDocs/atm_in” have all been automatically set to 2000. The emissions have also been set to 2000 level (e.g. co2vmr = 367.0e-6).

Should I modify all the related information in “atm_in” from 2000 to 1950? Is it feasible to run such a case like “B1950”?

Thanks for your reply. I have modified the "user_nl_cam" and rebuilt the model, and it works now.
