how to set STOP_N and RESUBMIT to exactly match with the years I would like to simulate

Hi, all

I perform a regional simulation from 1901 to 2014 (totally 114 years) with clm5 (walltime 24hr),

If I set STOP_N=50, RESUBMIT=1, the model will totally simulate 100 years, if I set RESUBMIT=2, then the model will run 150 years?
Is there any settings has priority than the RESUBMIT and STOP_N which force the model at end of 2014?
