How to spin up in my experiment?

Hello, everyone, I need your help!
I am a green hand and this is my first try.
I want to modify the emission dataset (specifically, I want to use CEDS data set) to do a BHIST simulation. I want to utilize the simulation data from 1980 to 2020 to analyze. A question arises from my designment: How to spin up in this simulation experiment?
From my perspective, I think I need do my own spinup because I modify all the emission data, but this will spend me much time. Therefore I hope to listen your suggestions!

If you are changing the emissions, it is likely that the model will be out of radiative balance and you might to redo some tuning before running your BHIST.
You may want to start doing a F case (FHIST with prescribed SSTs) to see how the emissions will affect the simulation. When you do a F case, it is not as important to have the RESTOM right as you use prescribed SSTs, you won't end up with a runaway climate but it can happen in the B case.

Very thanks for your suggestions! To avoid that I misunderstand your meaning so I want to make sure: You recommend we do a FHIST experiment before BHIST to see how the emission affect the simulation, right?
And I want to know after doing a FHIST simulation, how can we redo tuning for my BHIST simulation? Could you give me some examples?
I am sorry I cannot understand your suggestions well because I still study CESM. Very sorry for bothering you again.

And also I want to know what is "out of radiative balance"? It indicates the huge jump of RESTOM or climate drift? Please forgive me to ask you so many questions because I am a total novice. Looking forward to your reply!
