How to use RTM

I want to calculate the flow of a river using the clm3.5, but I just know how to read the surface runoff, subsurface runoff. but I don't know how to use the RTM to calculate the flow at the mouth of the river. Anyone who has the information on it is welcome to give directios. thanks very much!

If by "how to use RTM" you mean "how to turn it on" in a clm run:

In your run...csh script you need to set rtm=on.

Otherwise, all the variables that you say you "don't know how to read" or "don't know how to calculate" should be available by default in clm's history files. The river discharge will appear in history files when rtm=on.
