Ice output not compatible with modified ice input

Dear all,I am running a simulation using the F_200_WACCM and CESM 1.0.6.I want to run a simulation with a modified SST and sea-ice. I changed the ice_cov, ice_cov_prediddle as well as the SST_cpl and SST_cpl_prediddle in ocn/docn7/SSTDATA folder. In the modified SST and sea-ice, ice exists in the tropics. However when I run my simulation the tropics do not have any ice in the ice output data file. Can someone tell me what I should change to get the desired effect and how can I change it? Thank you in advance for your help,Beth

I have moved this to the WACCM forum. Did you update the CICE model and DOCN namelist to point to the modified files?

What machine is this? What do the ice_in and docn_ocn_in look like in your run directory? Sounds like one or both is not finding the right file.Dave

It is a personal computer. I have attached the ice_in and docn_ocn_in. I changed the sst_HadOIBl_bc_4x5_clim_c061031.nc, so it is not possible that it is not finding the right file.

I'm not seeing your attachments. Also, check the ice.log and ocn.log files to make sure it is reading the correct file.Dave
