Icepack run does not complete on laptop with no error message

Hi, I followed the instructions on how get Icepack working on a mac laptop (3.2.3. Porting to Laptop or Personal Computers). I can now build a case on my laptop, but when running it, following instructions in section 3.2.3.5:

./icepack.setup -m conda -e macos -c ~/icepack-dirs/cases/case1
cd ~/icepack-dirs/cases/case1
./icepack.build
./icepack.run)

The run does not complete, but without any error messages. See below for the output I get:

Any idea what could cause the run to not complete without an error message/what to check/try? I'm lost as what to try since I have no error message.

This looks like the same problem as Icepack - macOS Monterey. Try my first suggestion (Icepack - macOS Monterey).

Once conda-forge updates their GFortran to version 10 or newer, this should be fixed (see the GFortran bug linked in Icepack - macOS Monterey)

Yes, seems like that was the same issue, as I do have macOS Monterey. Your solution worked great. Thanks a million Philippe! So nice to be able to run it locally and not just on cheyenne!
