Dear sir/madam,
I would like to run future climate simulations using CCSM3.0 with an increase in all greenhouse gases and have a few questions regarding the namelist variables:
1) Does the variable RAMP_CO2_ANNUAL_RATE = 1% represent 1% increase in CO2 or CO2 equivalent? (i.e. are all ghg concentrations increased through this variable)
2) Is there an equivalent variable to RAMP_CO2_START_YMD used for all greenhouse gases?
3) With all ghgs increasing, does the cap variable RAMP_CO2_CAP, stop all increases and continue with constant concentrations, strictly depending on when only the CO2 concentration has doubled/tripled its initial value?
Any clarification would be much appreciated.
With thanks,
Judy.
