Inquiry About CESM2.2.0 Production Release Schedule

Hi,

I wanted to kindly inquire about the status of CESM2.2.0. According to the information available at Community Earth System Model 2 (CESM2) | Community Earth System Model, the CESM2.2 release is currently categorized as a development release rather than a production release.

I was wondering whether CESM2.2.0 is expected to transition into a production release? If so, is there an estimated timeline for its release?

This should probably be in the general forum. The next official production release will be CESM3. That is likely to happen later next year. We have no plans for any other production releases in the meantime.
