I am writing to seek your assistance regarding two files, namely domain.lnd.fv1.9x2.5_gx1v7.170518.nc and domain.lnd.fv1.9x2.5_gx1v7.181205.nc. I have a simple question but genuinely seek clarification on the matter. Do the last few numbers represent the region or the date?

Okay, I got it. By reading the nc file, we can obtain detailed information about this issue from the global attributes. The numbers following indicate time. This help thread ends here.
