irrigated crop

Hi again,

I have one more question:

How do we arrange the difference between irrigated crop and non irrigated one?

There is only one pft for crops and i couldnt find anything about mentioning irrigated or not.

My results show that after some time, soil moisture decrease and the plants go under stress; normally i was planning to put irrigated crop where soil moisture stress is not a problem

So is there a way to tell CLM that my pft is irrigated and the soil moisture shouldnt decrease so much?

Thanks

The clm does not include an irrigated crop. To make a crop irrigated you would need to modify the code. It should not be too complicated, but it does require a good understanding of the code and of fortran.
