Is CESM capable of capturing (biomass burning) episodes in any particular region?

Hi,
We have captured an episode (more likely from biomass burning) from our ground-based observation over the Himalayas and trying to capture the same episode using CESM, is that possible at the moment?
If it is possible, could you please let me know how it can be done? This will really be a great application of CESM.
