Hello! So sorry if this question has been asked before (I saw it for a different compset but wasn’t sure if it applied to C). So the default initialisation of the C compset is 2000, and in the description of the compset that appears when you set up the case- it says that the DATM forcing period is 1974-2000. However, on the NCAR page for compset descriptions, it lists 1850 also as a possible initialisation time for C. Will changing the start date to 1850 correspondingly change the DATM forcing to pre industrial? I’d like to run a pre industrial simulation with the C compset without the ecosystem component of POP .Here is the similar question: (how to set the Initialization Time in CESM)
