makeIC tool

Hi all,
I'm using makeIC tool to initialize CAM with ERA-Interim datasets but I don't know how it works and the input files nedeed to make new ICs.The README file is not very clear and I didn't find anything about this topic on web.Does anybody help me to do this?  Thanks a lotAndrea

Actually it is not clear to me what it is. The name suggests a tool to build initial conditions. It's from here: https://svn-ccsm-models.cgd.ucar.edu/tools/proc_atm/makeIC

Now, I understand where you find this tool. This is not part of the officially supported CESM distribution.
This code has been developped by one of our software engineer for his own research.
He might be able to help. I sent him a note.
