meg_isoprene is an output from clm5 (only), but not cesm?

Hi, all

I run a offline clm5.0, the MEG_isoprene is a default output, but when I changed to
run the FHIST case with cesm2.1.3, I can not find MEG_xx in clm2.h0 and cam.h0 files,
I would like to ask if the model is coupled, why the MEG_isoprene is disappeared from clm2.h0 files...
or I need to turn chem on when I used cesm, then the MEG_xx is the ouput from CAM?
