mie calculation in the near infrared band

Hi anybody, do you know how CAM model deals with the mie calculations in the near infrared bands? I find that there are several bands with the same begining wavelength and ending wavelength. However, the aerosol optics data provide different values in these bands. Is there something special we should take into account?
thanks a lot!

Could someone kindly enlighten us on how these optical constants are derived for the 7 pseudo-spectral H20 bins? For each of the 7 bins the optical constants are different despite the spectral interval being the same.

I have added an additional aerosol species to the CAM radiation code and need to amend AerosolOptics_c040105.nc with an extra aerosol type. I know the optical constants need to be flux weighted averaged over the spectral intervals (this is straight forward), but I cannot find information regarding the 7 H20 bands.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
