Missing files for mksurfdata_esmf

Hi, I was trying to generate surface datasets using mksurfdata_esmf from ctsm5.2.mksurfdata on NERSC. To get started as a new user, I followed the steps in README file. After generating the namelist. I tried to download all the input files from here: https://svn-ccsm-inputdata.cgd.ucar.edu/trunk/inputdata/ But I did not find these two files:

• /lnd/clm2/rawdata/surfdata_topo_10x15_c220303.nc
• ctsm52finalrawdata/globalctsm52nrhistLUH2deg025_220918/mksrf_landuse_ctsm52_nrhistLUH2_1850.c220918.nc

It seems ctsm52 datasets are still not publicly available based on Dr. Oleson’s reply to a previous thread from here (Missing CTSM input data on repository). Before this data is ready, can I use this data as an alternative: lnd/clm2/rawdata/pftcftdynharv.0.25x0.25.LUH2.histsimyr1850-2015.c170629/mksrf_landuse_histclm50_LUH2_1850.c170629.nc' ?
And could you please let me know where to find the surfdata_topo_10x15_c220303.nc? Thank you very much.

The CTSM5.2 branch isn't ready for general use. We are still working on making sure we have everything together and surface datasets are as we expect and simulations work as expected.

Until CTSM5.2 comes to main I would suggest using mksurfdata_map that's in the latest CTSM5.1 development version. As of right now ctsm5.1.dev115 is the latest such tag.

Hi Erik, thanks for your reply. I would like to create surface datasets with dynamic urban on them. Does mksurfdata_map that's in the latest CTSM5.1 development version create surface datasets with dynamic urban?
