I am hoping to reproduce the PMIP4 experiments mid-Holocene (b.e21.B1850.f09_g17.PMIP4-midHolo.001) and 127ka (b.e21.B1850.f09_g17.PMIP4-127ka.001) for CESM 2.1, and the corresponding piContral simulation (b.e21.B1850.f09_g17.CMIP6-piControl.001). Unfortunately I cannot locate the caseroot files on the svn server (https://svn-cesm2-expdb.cgd.ucar.edu/public/).
I obtained the 127ka caseroot files from a previous post (pmip experiments caseroot file not found)
Would it be possible to get the midHolo caseroot files as a tar file, or have them added to the svn server for public access?
When I tried to run the 127ka case, it seems I also need some additional files.
Specifically from user_nl_clm:
finidat = '/gpfs/fs1/work/tomas/cmip6/127ka/offline_spunup_land_ic/1103-01-01-00000/i.e21.B1850.f09_g17.PMIP4-127ka.proto003.clm2.r.1103-01-01-00000.nc'

for the piControl simulation there is a dependent file in user_nl_clm:
finidat = '/gpfs/p/cesm0005/archive/cesm20exp10j_1deg_CPLHST_nndep_virtual_1850pAD/rest/1955-01-01-00000/cesm20exp10j_1deg_CPLHST_nndep_virtual_1850pAD.clm2.r.1955-01-01-00000.nc'
I suspect there might be a similar collection of files for the midHolo case that I will need to be able to run that simulation. Would it be possible to get all of the files needed to run these three simulations, or could you point me to where these might be publicly available?
There also seems to be a discrepancy for the 127ka simulation between the RUN_REFCASE and RUN_STARTDATE values in the env_run.xml file that vary slightly from the input data available from the svn server called by check_input_data (- Revision 60946: /trunk/inputdata/cesm2_init/b.e21.B1850.f09_g17.PMIP4-127ka.001). Should this be a problem, or is ok to use the input data available at the svn server?
Lastly, I noticed that the MODEL_VERSION value in env_case.xml is slightly different between the 127ka and piControl simulations. Is it sufficient to run these using CESM 2.1.3, Or should I match up the model versions exactly with those in the env_case.xml files?
