Moist Convective Downdraft Mass Flux

Is there a moist convective downdraft mass flux variable within CAM3_1? This would be an interface level variable (pverp, not mid-layer, pver). Any help will be appreciated. I have located the md(pcols,pver) variable within the convect_deep.F90 module but, this is a mid-layer variable.
